December 11, 2000 For the ML assignment, I overlooked the case where a word such as by or my has no vowels (by my definition). Therefore, since this is my fault, it's OK if your program does not work for these cases.

December 1, 2000 Added an extended example (Eliza) in ML.
November 27, 2000 ML section is now complete (but "Notes on ML 97" is still being revised).
November 17, 2000 I had forgotten to add a link to the lecture on Scopes. It's fixed now.

  • Section 001: Monday, Nov. 27
  • Section 002: Wednesday, Nov. 29
November 9, 2000 Added a sample Lisp program with some similarities to ELIZA. Added some more lecture notes.

This page will be updated frequently as the semester progresses. All assignments, all corrections to assignments, all new URLs will be posted here. Announcements will be posted here. If I have to cancel a class (because of snow, illness, or whatever), I will post the fact here if I possibly can.
